Shorts with copyrighted content are still monetized in a fair way for content creators, splitting the revenue?

Content creators ask for Shorts to be able to be longer than 1 minute!

YouTube be like: Fine, but all copyrighted shorts exceeding 1 minute in duration will just be fully blocked globally.

Why?

No, seriously, why is YouTube even still pretending to do something for content creators and further pretending to give people what they want?

No wonder TikTok is more successful!
