Meet the new GOP Senate boss. Same as the old GOP boss? - November 13, 2024

The new GOP leadership includes #MitchMcConnell's choice to replace him, and also a Southern Baptist minister, the Republican Senator #JamesLankford from Oklahoma, the man who wrote a scam border security bill for GOP Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell that would have allowed over one million new migrants a year into the U.S. — and it had a "kill switch" (found out by then-Senator J.D. Vance) hidden in the legislation that would have prevented President Donald Trump from circumventing the new law and closing the border. Senator James Lankford shopped the bill around to the media to present it as a bipartisan solution to the House version of a REAL border security bill called HR-2 (Secure the Border Act of 2023).

Senator Chuck Schumer and the other Democrats loved this bill and Kamala Harris used it as a talking point during her entire campaign while running against Donald Trump, saying there is bipartisan bill to secure the border that the House Republicans refuse to pass.

In a secret vote in the Senate to choose a new incoming Senate Majority Leader, the Senate ruled out MAGA Senator Rick Scott as the new Senate Majority Leader, and senators such as RINO Senators Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski voted in Mitch McConnell's choice (Senator John Thune) to proceed him. Just prior to the secret Senate vote, Senator Thune warned Donald Trump not to weigh in on a choice and publicly endorse his own pick for a new leader, although everyone knew it was Rick Scott. FYI: The UniParty Democrats may not say so or publicly show it, but like the RINOs, they too would prefer #JohnThune over #RickScott. Needless to say, MAGA will be closely watching Senator Thune.

And Trump's choice for his U.S. Attorney General is Rep. #MattGaetz. This will be the first real test for the new secretly selected Senator Majority Leader John Thune—and a test of his loyalty to #DonaldTrump and THE PEOPLE'S mandate; and a test of Thune's sincerity for the #MAGA movement and the #AmericaFirst agenda.

FYI: If Thune and his posse of #MitchMcConnell's RINOs can approve a Marxist like #MerrickGarland, then they shouldn't have any problem at all approving a patriot like @RepMattGaetz (as well as the rest of Trump's nominees.) And the new GOP leadership should NOT approve any of Biden's new judges. Besides, Trump said he will fire ALL federal judges on his first day in office.
