Bombing Dresden Was So Evil

I feel like we don’t talk about the allied bombing of Dresden, Germany nearly enough: The carpet bombing took place on Feb. 14th, 1945, an Ash Wednesday, turning the German city into ash on the biggest Catholic celebration as some sort of a sick joke. Is this what America, a supposedly Christian country, should be doing to Christians? Let’s also not forget that this took place during wartime, meaning the only people actually inhabiting the city were, of course, women and children, since all the men were off fighting in the war. So, America carpet bombed a city made up almost exclusively of civilians on a major Christian holiday, turning the city into ash on Ash Wednesday.
