Kelli Harris - Everyday People Doing Extraordinary Things

After Hurricane Helene hit Appalachia, people were stunned with the level and scope of disaster left behind. Every day people began to do extraordinary things in an effort to seek, save, and bring relief to the victims. In neighboring towns pilots began rescue operations, supply drops, and citizens organized donation drives. Tyler Lee used his connections gained running for Congress to help reach people in need and facilitate rescues. Samaritans Purse was quick to respond, and soon teams and individuals from all over the nation began to arrive to help. Jeramy Smith, Kelli Harris, and Tyler Lee hopped on a zoom call to share their personal thoughts and stories and hope to encourage viewers to keep supporting our neighbors as the long process of grief and recovery continues.
