(Financial) Sense

After a recent trip to the Vet, I found out that Lily, my West Highland Terrier, was born on January 3, 2009, the day the first Bitcoin block was mined. I remember getting Lily back in 2009, but I didn’t remember which exact date I got her. All this time, I assumed she was born sometime in either February or March, so it came as a huge shock to me when I realised the date of her actual birth! This unique link between Lily and Bitcoin inspired Lily's Coin ($LILY), a memecoin created to honor her story and Bitcoin’s legacy.

My vision is to give Lily a lasting legacy. At almost 16 years of age, Lily shares her age with Bitcoin, and while 16 years is young for Bitcoin, it’s a long life for a dog. Born the same day as Bitcoin’s Genesis Block, $LILY honors that connection, ensuring Lily’s story lives on in Bitcoin history!
