Ep. 2 The midnight drive : More than a drive by

Chad knew he should have just walked her to her car and left, but something about the way Judy had sounded on the phone lingered in his mind. Instead, they ended up getting coffee together. As they sat across from each other, he couldn’t shake the thought of the car she had mentioned—why hadn’t she called the cops? When he asked, she simply smiled and said, “I’m good at keeping secrets… including my own.” She had a way of probing his silence, pushing him to reveal more, but he deflected, insisting the night was about her. Still, the mystery of it all pulled him in, and tonight, that was enough.
