History of Cannabis 1800’s

Really fed up with people telling me that “if natural medicine was so good why don’t the doctors recommend it” 🙄 so here’s some education!

In the late 1800s, John D. Rockefeller, already rich from oil, found a new way to make money—by turning petroleum byproducts into drugs. These drugs didn’t cure disease but masked symptoms, and Rockefeller saw a chance to dominate the medical world. To get rid of natural medicine, which had been used for centuries, he hired Abraham Flexner to create a report in 1910 that labeled traditional healing as “quackery.” The government fell for it (or more they were paid off) and laws were passed to outlaw natural medicine unless approved by Rockefeller-funded schools. This was the beginning of modern medicine, where toxic drugs took over, and natural remedies were suppressed.

Rockefeller’s reach didn’t stop there. He bought into I.G. Farben, a German pharmaceutical giant that later helped Hitler produce war chemicals. As his drug empire grew, he made sure to target cannabis, which he knew to be natures most powerful healer.

By 1939, the UK introduced the Cancer Act, banning any cancer treatment outside the pharmaceutical industry’s control. This law silenced anyone promoting natural cures like cannabis, making it illegal and demonising both the plant and its users.

It’s time, now more than ever, to reclaim the healing power of natural remedies like cannabis. The system has suppressed them for too long. We need to stand up and demand real cures, not just symptom-masking drugs. The future of medicine depends on us embracing nature’s wisdom, not corporate profits. This is what needs to happen now before more lives are lost to Big pHARMa!

Let’s see how long it takes before they fact check this one! 😏
