November 16, 1940 - 'Monon Bell Memory' : DePauw vs. Wabash

A fourth quarter drive by Wabash College, resulting in a 3-yard touchdown run, gave the men from Crawfordsville the Monon Bell for the first time since 1936. The final score was Wabash 17, DePauw 13.

'Monon Memorie' were produced by Ken Owen. The 1940 game is the earliest DePauw-Wabash game for which film footage exists, and it can be seen in the clip.
