With the advent of round module technology, some modern trucks are adapted to transport multiple round modules simultaneously.​​ ​​

Certain trailers are designed to carry up to eight round modules, each weighing around 5,000 pounds, resulting in a total payload capacity of approximately 40,000 pounds.
