High winds cause outages and closures

High winds across the State Tuesday afternoon caused several power outages,
particularly in the UP where wind was gusting to over 50 miles an hour. As a
result, The Presque Isle Park and the Park Cemetery are closed due to high winds. They both should re-open Tuesday. The Mackinac Bridge Authority was requiring escort of “high profile” vehicles across the bridge and urged motorists to slow down to 20-miles per hour. David Barr Michigan News Source.
