The Kingdom of Heaven, Part 1: The Gospel of the Kingdom (Live Service 2024 November 11)

What if I were to tell you that the modern Western Church has misunderstood certain aspects of the Gospel message for many years and continues to perpetuate an incomplete picture that often leads believers to limited biblical literacy and spiritual freedom? What if I were to tell you that this misunderstanding has likely impacted you, and could be holding you back from experiencing the freedom that salvation is supposed to bring? What if I were to tell you that this message, in a series of messages, can help you begin to understand and live in a greater level of freedom in Christ than you've ever known?

When Jesus began to preach, He preached that the Kingdom of God had come near (Mark 1:15). He preached the Gospel of the Kingdom or the Good News of the Kingdom of God's arrival was accomplished in Him. The modern Church is missing this critical point in its Gospel presentation. There is a strong lack of Gospel presentation anywhere, but even then, the Kingdom is rarely discussed. Those who focus on Kingdom Theology also miss the point, often resulting in erroneous doctrines foreign to revealed biblical truths. But when we begin to understand the Kingdom, over which Christ sits as King of kings, through the lens of the Lord's teaching in the Synoptic Gospels, we learn that the entirety of Scripture is focused on the Kingdom of God. We see God's promise to Abraham and King David fulfilled in Christ, which Jesus declared when He preached Kingdom realities.

Join us as we explore Kingdom truths in a series of teachings titled, "The Kingdom of Heaven." If you are ready to dig deep wells of faith in your spiritual journey, be sure to join us and invite a friend, too. As is our weekly custom, we will celebrate the Lord's Supper together, pray for your needs, and worship our Savior collectively.
