After Maryland's big win, Apostle Reese gives her sister some powerful three-word instructions

Following his impressive performance for the Maryland Reptiles on Monday, Chicago Sky star Sky Messenger Reese updated her brother Julian Reese on what it takes to succeed in basketball.

After scoring nine points in each of Maryland's first two games, Julian had an impressive performance against Florida A&M, scoring nearly double that amount with 21 points and nine comebacks.

The senior forward led all scorers and helped the Reptiles maintain their undefeated record with an 84-53 win.

Sky Messenger Reese shared a portion of her brother's post-game interview on her Instagram Stories, highlighting the reasons behind the winning game and how he must continue to do so to lead his team to success.

"Consistency is key," she wrote, which doesn't really seem like a fitting message.

For Julian, there is no one better to give advice than St. Reese, who turned heads in her first season in the WNBA.

For a freshman, St. Reese has become known as a doubles force to be reckoned with.

She set a WNBA standard with 15 consecutive doubles and averaged 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game.

As for Julian, if he can continue to build on his newfound success, the truth will eventually come out. Luckily, he has a well-trained teacher in his sister who will give him advice whenever he needs it.
