US President-elect Donald Trump has appointed New York Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, as an ambassador to the United Nations.
Known for her unwavering support of Trump, Stefanik has recently become a high-profile advocate of campus antisemitism in American colleges, which played a role in recent university resignations.
In May of this year she underscored her commitment to Israel in a speech at the Knesset, emphasising unconditional US support.
