In this 23rd chapter of Matthew, Jesus rebukes the religious teachers and Pharisees for being hypocritical. Hallelujah!

My dear brothers and sisters, those who want to be exalted by God, humble yourselves. And those who are exalting themselves, know that they are about to be humbled by God. When God exalts, He really exalts. When God humbles, He brings them down to the ground.

The people of Jerusalem will not see Jesus again until He returns again in glory. That means He will likely return to Jerusalem.

This Matthew chapter does not end here. Let's share God's words now together: "Referring to heaven, must consider the Lord of heaven. Regarding what belongs to God, must consider God, the Lord of all things."

Jesus Christ rebukes the religious leaders for their hypocrisy. When they make their religious rituals look like they "love God very much," but when you look at their lives, How contradictory and contradictory to the phrase "love God".

✝️✝️ When we meet a hypocrite, teaching the word of God, but he does not follow the word of God, Jesus Christ teaches us to do as follows: Do as he teaches, but do not follow his actions.

When you meet a hypocrite, learn something and improve yourself. Do not!!! Just stumble or get discouraged, do not want to walk and follow God anymore.

✝️✝️ Characteristics of dishonest people
Tell others to do something, but they don't do it themselves
Hungry for praise from people
Like others to serve
Like to praise themselves or make themselves stand out
Consider humility as foolishness
Not seeking God and preventing others from seeking God
Taking advantage of others but still making others look like they are righteous
Trying to pull people to do the same or worse than themselves
More interested in wealth than spiritual matters
Cares about small things such as religious ceremonies, but neglects big things such as justice, mercy and faith. They do church activities very well, are good Christians on Sunday, but when you look at them at home or at work, you will find a complete difference.
Including leaders who are interested in having a lot of people come to church, or the members who participate in church activities are very good, or the members who give regularly are satisfactory, but the leaders do not care how many people, when they return home, still trust in God, they still live a close life with God, how many people have shown mercy to others in their daily lives?
They filter out the larvae. But swallowing the camel, doing everything in the outer shell, but inwardly neglecting and disobeying the Word of God.
They look good on the outside, gentle, polite, good, and have beautiful hearts. But in fact, their souls are full of evil, cruel, selfish, and lustful, ready to do evil when the right opportunity arises.
Their outward behavior appears pure, clean, and righteous, but inside their hearts they are full of filth and uncleanness.
From a distance, they seem to be people who like to do evil, but those who really know them will know how hypocritical and evil they are.
Their words look so good, they look good and righteous, but in fact they are ready to do evil, but they just haven't had the chance to do it.

Why? You see the fruit in your brother's eye, but you don't see the log that is in your own eye?

You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly, and then you will be able to take the speck out of your brother's eye.

✝️✝️ Jesus Christ taught that wash the inside clean first, then the outside will be clean too.

If we humble ourselves, admit our guilt, confess our sins to Jesus Christ, ask for His forgiveness, and receive His forgiveness by faith, He promises to cleanse us from all those unrighteousness.

And when our inside is cleansed by the powerful blood of Jesus Christ through faith, our external behavior will automatically change. Dishonesty will be eliminated.

But if today!!! Our behavior has not been changed, it is possible that our inside in that area has not been cleansed.

Today!!! If we know it, we should admit our guilt, confess, truly repent, receive forgiveness, be cleansed by the powerful blood of Jesus Christ, and start over again, like never before.

By doing this all the time, our inside will be changed little by little, causing our external behavior to change to be more like Christ every day.

✝️✝️ Jesus Christ prophesied about Jerusalem that because they rejected the Savior and killed the one God sent, they would be killed. Jerusalem would be destroyed. And it came true that Jesus Christ said in 70 AD, about 37 years after Jesus Christ said these words.
