How the interview works for a production mining job Conversations about Mining

In today’s video I am going to talk about how the interview works for an entry level production mining job like Nipper or Truck Operator. I am going to take a little bit of a different approach by explaining how it works from the Foreman’s (or person doing the hiring’s) point of view. I am hoping that understanding the problems they have with hiring new starters, will help you understand what you can do to make yourself stand out and give yourself a point of difference to everyone else going for these jobs.

As always it pays to know how the system works to take advantage of it. Knowing how the mine works, is the skill all the employers want, that most New Starters over look when trying to get their first job.
