STRONG EARTHQUAKE! Magnitude 6.8 earthquake hits east coast of Cuba

A strong 6.8 extent tremor has struck off the eastern shore of Cuba, setting off a quake alert for the district. The shake's focal point was situated in the Caribbean Ocean, roughly 125 km north of the beach front town of Baracoa, Cuba. As per the US Land Overview, the seismic tremor had a profundity of 10 km, making it a shallow shake.
