The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt | Throwing babies in an oven, haunted towers, and killing Kiera

Gameplay Part 14 of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt...

Continuing on with "Possession" side quest in Skellige. Geralt sails out to Aki's body to place the sword with his bones before swimming back to shore. Udalryk is actually haunted by a very rare and dangerous creature known as a Hym, a shadowy being which latches onto a person's guilt and feeds off of it by making their host harm themselves. Geralt and Cerys decide to trick the Hym by staging a scene in the old house. Cerys rushes in with the Jarl's baby and hands him to Geralt to put in the oven as guards and an enraged Udalryk rush in after her. After fighting the guards, the hym latches onto Geralt's guilty conscience before Cerys has Hjort appear with the baby, safe and sound. It realizes it was tricked though and now has no host to live in, freeing Udalryk or the cruse.
Geralt heads back to Kaer Trolde to receive a reward from Crache. He finds Cerys and Hjalmar fighting. After speaking to Crache, loud shouting from the feast hall is heard, and Geralt runs out to see that there are lots of Bears attacking people in the feast hall. After a bloody battle, Geralt stays with Cerys to investigate who did this to clear the Clan an Crach name. They find out it was Birna Bran behind the deed with the help of Armvald who is now dead. Berna Bran's son comes forth and accuses her mother. From this, they she is found guilty, and will be sentenced to death.
Ceryl's is named queen and during this ceremony Geralt asks Crache for help with the Wild Hunt, he can't but, gives him a sword. Ceryl's allows her brother to go with Geralt to help in the fight. Geralt goes to Ermion to ask him and he willingly agrees. Geralt fast travels to Nilfgaard to ask Ciri's own father, Emhyr var Emreis to help in the Brother's in Arms requests. He would love send his men if his caption could lead the fight. Geralt says no and leaves for Velen.
At Velen, Geralt finishes up a side quest by giving Gretka a toy before heading out to meet with Keira Metz. She wants you to help lift the curse on Fyke Island. So Geralt sails out to the island infested by monsters and a tower of rats and ghosts. He makes his way to the top of the tower using a magic glamp Keira gave him that can see ghost memories. He finds the source of the curse, a young woman named Anabelle. Geralt learns that she was presumed dead because of a heavy-duty sleeping potion. When she awoke, the rats ate her alive in the tower. Alexander, had been experimenting with rats and infecting them with a disease called Catriona. To free the island you help Anabelle by taking her remains to her loved one, Graham. She turns out to be a Plague Maiden and ends up killing Graham in the process of being freed.
Now back to Keira, after telling her what happened she asks you to find a package of hers that got lost on the way from Novigrad. Geralt tracks it down and finds that the package was just fancy food. Keira makes you wait outside while she conjures up white horses from white mice and prepares a feast for you both. Geralt declines to romance her since he is loyal to Yennefer. She gets kinda salty before putting you to sleep and running off to Fyke Island. Geralt wakes up, realizing what happened and swims to the island to confront her. Keira used you to clear the island so she could get the notes in the tower that could create a cure for a plague. She plans to sell it to King Radovid for money and protection. Geralt says this is a bad idea and unfortunately ends up getting in battle with her and...killing her. Guess she won't be helping as a Brother in Arms.
Now we can finally continue the main quests and get to Skellige to start on the journey to the Isle of Mists.
