Y'TIS met her husband Will 2 years ago while he was incarcerated. She says she "has always had a curious mind" so went onto the penpal website where they met. The pair began talking everyday before getting married in April last year. Y'tis says speaking to Will was a breath of fresh air and her cloudy days felt sunny again.

Y'tis says she’s a very private person and doesn’t care about other people’s opinions. On social media, Y'tis gets a lot of positive comments because she likes to make fun content about being a prison wife and wants to show people how you can make a bad situation great. She also gets a lot of negativity and hate with people calling her "Delusional", saying "They're always so nice in jail" and judging her for taking him on a trip to Disneyland via video call. People assume that she’s spending a lot of money on Will and he’s using her but Y'tis says Will actually supports her financially too. Will even bought Y'tis her dream car from prison, a Jeep Willys.

In this episode her long term friend Johnell comes round to ask Y'tis about her relationship. Johnell found out about the relationship on social media and didn't believe it was real. Johnell says she was shocked and said "this is abnormal" for Y'tis.
