Amsterdam was the scene of violent "clashes" following a soccer match between Ajax and Maccabi Tel Aviv. The mayor of Amsterdam has since introduced enhanced security measures in response to what has been largely described as an anti-Semitic attack, though there were also instances of provocative chanting from the Israeli side.

Security Response: In light of the violence, the city of Amsterdam has implemented stricter security protocols to prevent further incidents and to ensure the safety of its residents and visitors.

Evacuation: The Israeli government responded swiftly by arranging commercial flights to safely return Israeli soccer fans back home. The first of these flights touched down in Tel Aviv earlier today.

Casualties and Arrests: The pogrom led to five individuals requiring hospitalization. The police made 62 arrests during the disturbances, with ten of those arrested still being held in custody as investigations continue.

Videos Circulating Online: Social media platforms are filled with videos capturing the chaos, featuring riot police attempting to quell the unrest. Some footage includes assailants using anti-Israeli slurs, highlighting the anti-Semitic nature of the violence.
