Dragon Quest 4: Chapters of the Chosen ep 12 Oojam, Palais de Leon, A Prisoners Story

After a little off camera grinding we are much better prepared for the challenges ahead. We delve back into the cave looking for the sphere of silence and our fathers apprentice Oojam. When found, our fathers old apprentice joins our mission. He is a strong fighter and makes a decent tank. We find a couple of important treasures here. The Night Light and the Sphere of Silence. The latter is a necessity for an upcoming battle. We head north to Palais de Leon to confront the murderer. We find out the Marquis locks himself in a secret room but the secret is known by the chancellor. A cowardly sort, the chancellor will run to the Marquis for protection if startled. Scaring bureaucrats is a crime however and the last man to do it is locked up in the port of Havre Leon. Curios to know what was done we head over to pay the prisoner a call. He tells us he had some gunpowder from the Mamon mine that he set off outside the chancellors bedchamber. It was the loud bang that frightened him so. Needing our own explosive we head to Mamon mine. The enemies here do not mess around and Meena and Maya get killed by evil chickens. Oojam drags our bodies to the closest church for revival and it costs us half our coin. We will try again next time.
