Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has intensified his security measures, now working from a fortified basement room on guidance from security officials. This move follows a reported drone attack by Hezbollah on his private residence, which heightened threats linked to escalating regional tensions. Security protocols at the PM’s office have reportedly been revised, leading to relocations of cabinet meetings and the postponement of personal events, including his son’s wedding. The adjustments come as Israel faces near-daily exchanges of fire along its northern border with Hezbollah amid broader conflicts in Gaza. Netanyahu’s legal team has also cited security risks as grounds for delaying his upcoming trial testimony, while Israeli authorities have prepared a fortified bunker in Jerusalem for senior leaders. Known as the National Management Center, this bunker is fully operational and designed to withstand a range of attacks, connecting directly to the Defence Ministry in Tel Aviv.
