I think my favorite workout routine for overall growth, strength, and adaptability is a Full-Body one. Not only is it a true time saver, but it helps incorporate the essential movement patterns during this type of workout. In this particular workout I chose to do exercises that I consider to be auxiliary. Not every workout is created equal, so not all results are equal. What I found, anecdotally, is that my body responds really well throughout the week when I do the more robust exercises. Training the movement to get better at overall development is the key. So adding a little extra spice to the recipe can help you see where you may be falling short at.
