P-47 Thunderbolt pilots discuss their experience flying and strafing in the P-47. I've added footage that I've designed sound for and enhanced, showing P-47's taxiing, taking off, formation flying, and GunCam footage, alongside pilot interviews.

The P-47 Thunderbolt was a key aircraft in the 9th Air Force during World War II. Known for its durability and firepower, the P-47 was primarily used for fighter-bomber missions, including bomber escort, ground attack, and strafing enemy positions. Its ability to absorb damage and continue flying earned it the nickname “Jug” and made it one of the most reliable and versatile fighters of the war.
