Firefighting drones have rapidly advanced to carry and deliver significant payloads, making them invaluable tools for combating fires in hard-to-reach or high-risk areas.

Equipped with specialized tanks, some drones can carry between 5 to 20 liters of fire retardant or water, which can be precisely deployed over specific hotspots. Larger industrial firefighting drones, used for forest fires or high-rise building fires, can handle even greater loads, sometimes exceeding 100 kilograms, allowing them to drop substantial amounts of retardant or transport rescue supplies.

These drones are often equipped with infrared cameras and sensors to detect heat signatures and navigate through smoke, providing critical real-time data to firefighting teams while reducing risk to human firefighters.
