There's More To This Sport Than Meets The Eye - Football & Beyond with Konrad Rogoz

Really cool discussion with Konrad about the ins & outs of the NFL and the overall sport in general and how it's led to good & bad masculinity beyond just any given sunday.

It recently occurred to me in regards to my athleticism in hindsight, if soccer wasn't a thing or favored football over it in high school, I may have gone on to play at a big college and then some.. I used to love the sport actually and was torn for many years between sticking with soccer during the conflicting autumn seasons.. I got all Euro roots, so it was more fitting to stick with soccer, altho payed attention to the NFL for a long time and went to a few games. I do have experience to stand on regarding this subject, even played a bit in elementary & middle school, so don't look at me like some clueless guy ini france that doesn't know what he's talking about..

There's a lot more to say about this sport, but it was perfect to cap it around 2hrs after getting a lot of angles & insights about it all.. Many angles could be emphasized and explored more for sure- we don't know it all, but were just happy to come together on this subject & break some bread about the circus, the sport and the business.

Gonna leave my notes as raw as they were, which were mostly talkinig points in the video:

gemmatria, rigged, scripted, fantasy, betting, journalist narratives,

army style, chess, free masonic?

millions riding on a kid fresh outta college

marketing, religious-tribal-cultlike sunday sermons

youtube commentators: analysis, exposing, reacting, fan-boying

Sports talk is normally wack, or narrow-minded
it's easy to analyze theses things
NARRATIVES, buzzwords, names, weekly storylines to sell

Stadiums, financing, makes the city better?

too much money in contracts: 100 million just to catch a few passes per game for a few months

is there something about men in spandex getting smothered by each other every sunday?

there is some entertaining and funny things going on

It's a coaches games and sometimes seems like pawns on a chessboard-
King (QB), Queen (RB), Rooks- Tight Ends, Bishops- Wide Receivers, Knights- Tail Backs, pawns- Offensive Line

His points I noted from his recent video that was referenced:
youtube.com /watch?v=AYWjlhiyV5U
1- commercials
-difference with soccer
- military recruitment center

2- The seasons played in, the weak-end
-too cold- not optimal for muscles & health

3- VAR, too many replays
referees acting as ultimate authority
killing the vibe
