45. The Triumphal Entry (Mark 11:1-11)

Jesus' journey from Caesarea Philippi to Jerusalem culminated in the procession commonly called the 'Triumphal Entry.' With this, a remarkable series of events got underway that resulted in the crucifixion of Jesus on Friday. Christians have believed, however, that the following Sunday everything changed when Jesus rose from the dead. This lecture launches a series of discussions of these events, focusing of Jesus arrival in Jerusalem on the back of a donkey.
