Isaiah 14
This chapter is terribly mis-taught and misunderstood by most of Christianity. Christian teachers and Theologians have misinterpreted the symbolic description of the reaction of the world to the death of a king, and attached and invented Latin name that was not part of the original text, being Lucifer, and imagined a new origin and history for Satan, all made up because of Isaiah 14 and also Ezekiel 28.

This type of mythical past fits the Christian imagery of the supposed enemy of God, who allegedly got filled with pride and rebelled against the Father.

Satan is the creation of the Father and is not an opposing God. The meaning of Satan or HaShatan, is the adversary or the Accuser. Satan is essentially the prosecuting attorney against mankind accusing mankind of his sin; he is doing what he was created to do. Satan is not the subject of or even a character in Isaiah 14. That same misconception concerning Satan is the subject of Ezekiel 28, it's derived from that, but that chapter in Ezekiel is referring to the King of Tyre and it says that very plainly, not Satan.

These misunderstandings occur when we fail to recognize and understand the symbolism that is often used in Scripture.

While I saw the obvious flaws in Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28, Renditions of the, Satan is the Fallen Angel hypothesis, the subject of Isaiah 14 is not what I previously thought it was either. I previously thought this chapter described the death of Nebuchadnezzar and the world's reaction to it, but it does not fit at all. That would seemingly be the default interpretation given since this is clearly an oracle given to the king of Babylon, however the details in this chapter don't fit the circumstances of Nebuchadnezzar at all, it's not the man described in history, not in Isaiah 14, and in scripture, it's just it doesn't fit.

As a matter of fact, here's the key, the first few verses in that chapter give us the time frame, they tell us explicitly what the time frame is. The time frame tells us it's occurring in our day.
Looking at this chapter in detail does indeed tell us an interesting account of a man whose death was recent, and very newsworthy.

They even throw in the Lucifer name and say that's Satan's name, and it's not, it just means Morningstar, he's not some Fallen Angel filled with pride no, no, that's not in Scripture. They make it sound like he guarded God's Throne while God was out on the edge of a cloud looking over wondering why Charlie was doing what he was doing, then He turned around and oh my gosh, look what Satan did, he took my throne, I'm going to throw you out of here, and Satan said I'm not moving. Well, there's going to be a fight then, he beat Satan up and threw him down out of the clouds and he hit the earth, NONE OF THAT HAPPENED.
