Atomic-Electronics Associates Inc. of Salt Lake City Utah. This is another meter with little known information available. AEA is known to have made a model 606 which has the same features as this but looks different. This unit may be a prototype or early unit. It could have even possibly even been a kit. Using six Victoreen 6306 thin-walled GM tubes with bismuth cathodes it's as sensitive as a good scintillation detector. It gets its high voltage (900 v) from a "Ticking" Victoreen 655 power supply . Originally powered by One 1 1/2 volt , one 15 volt , one 67.5 volt battery. Now running off my converters using 9v batteries. This unit has seen some use in it's lifetime.
