While staying in Areia Branca in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, we also visited Ponta do Mel beach which is a true presentation of what is called Sertão in the North East region of Brazil. We then visited Praia de São Cristóvão as well which is very close to Ponta do Mel and Areia Branca. We were absolutely amazed by the scenery and got a true appreciation for the Sertão vegetation.
