Jesus didn't forbid divorce because He wanted men to be in control; in fact, men could discard their wives for younger models too easily, and their children would suffer as well. Banning divorce gave women and children more stability.
Who didn't Jesus rebuke? LGBTQ people - women - children - foreigners (okay, the "Feeding children to the dogs" episode is sketchy). Jesus was murdered by the empire precisely because He was working towards justice and challenging inequality. I never even heard if transgender or 3rd gender until my high school years which up till that point was a problem for me at home and nothing I would dare do in school. when the internet was growing and there was forums and sites like MySpace you could find all kinds of science on trans surgeries and trans studies and plenty of forums of ppl discussing there own experiences with the medical side and mostly was negative. but with the patriot act many of these kinds of sites disappeared and started seeing a trans movement that I could never understand. I went thru hrt for nearly 3 years after seeing a Dr and several specialists and getting a gender dysphoria diagnosis along with several other health diagnosis including chimairism, lupus, autism, low bone density and many other things over a 10 year period. being on hormones did not help one bit as far as helping me feel more balanced, they made other things much worse. I went off all meds at the same time cold turkey. not the smartest thing to do ill admit. I lost my mind for a while and had a spontanious spiritual experience. ever since then I've acknowledged my own trans discomfort to a spiritual experience and that's helped me in a far greater way than meds or surgery ever could. I'm not saying religion is the answer, it's actually more of a problem creator in this scenario but learning ancient spirituality and 3rd gender beliefs was probably what saved my life.
