The Tampa Bay Lightning traded backup goaltender Peter Budaj back to the Los Angeles Kings on Wednesday for forward Andy Andreoff. The Lightning acquired Budaj, Erik Cernak and draft picks at the 2017 trade deadline for Ben Bishop and a draft pick. Budaj played in only eight games for Tampa Bay during the 2017-2018 season after suffering a lower-body injury in December. The 27-year-old Andreoff scored three goals and six assists in 45 games for the Kings during the 2017-2018 season. Two years ago he set career highs with eight goals and 10 points in 60 games. The Kings originally drafted the Pickering, Ontario native in the third round of the 2011 NHL Draft.
