Last Armageddon (PCE - 1990) playthrough, part 10/38 - Reading slates on the eastern continent

The entire play session is traveling around the eastern continent, reading slates. I start focusing on building up the parties' magic power so they can start learning new spells. G. Snake evolves for the 2nd time after the first battle. Orc evolves for the 2nd time, leaving Skeleton as the last of the day party to evolve its 2nd time. Changing to the night party, Cyclops is the first to have its 2nd evolution, with Gargoyle joining later. Unfortunately, I got into another random encounter at the same time a slate scene would have played, causing another reset.

Translations are machine translations (turn on captions for translations). I used the Bing and Google translators as well as https://nihongodera.com/tools/kana-converter for word by word translations. I also used http://www.moemoe.gr.jp/~yourtoy/last/index.html It has most, or possibly all, of the text (all in Japanese) from the PC88 version. I'd say at least 90% of the two versions' event scripts are identical -- I did not compare the text on the slates.

Last Armageddon was originally released on Japanese PCs in 1988, being ported to PC Engine in 1990 on CD. It was also ported to Famicom a couple months later. It never got a release outside of Japan.

Played on a PC Engine Duo-R using composite out, running it through a RetroTINK 5X-Pro to an Elgato HD60 X capture card. Recorded in OBS Studio.
