A plumber’s truck exploded on a residential street in Queens early Friday, damaging nearby homes and cars.

The unoccupied Infiniti QX56 erupted in flames due to pressurized gas cylinders stored in the vehicle, while lithium-ion batteries required hazmat handling, according to FDNY officials.

The blast broke windows in six homes and damaged five vehicles, but no injuries were reported.

The truck’s owner, Dinell Harricharan, said it was essential for his plumbing business and is now facing the challenge of rebuilding, as insurance won’t cover the loss, the New York Post has reported.
