Frosted Brownies

For your next holiday meal, birthday treat or picnic make these super easy Frosted Brownies and skip the boxed mix filled with chemicals.

Pre heat oven to 350ºF
1 cup melted and cooled butter
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 cups sugar
**mix 2 minutes to cream sugars into the butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon instant coffee (optional)
1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
**mix well
2 cups flour
**mix, this will be quite thick
4 room temperature eggs
**add each egg one at a time, mix in between each
**Bake in a 13x9 inch pan that has been well greased or parchment lined
**350ºF for 20-25 minutes, until a toothpick come out mostly clean

After the brownies have cooled make the frosting

Frosting
1/4 cup melted and cooled butter
3 cups powered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup milk (add more if needed 1 Tbsp. at a time)
**mix well and frost brownies
