After the elections yesterday, I had the opportunity to see where men and women stood when it came to their profession of faith in Christ. The hypocrisy was to no end, saying one thing and yet, practicing and promoting another in holding the truth in unrighteousness (Romans 1:18). One guy said, “We now have a bright future now that Trump is back in office.” Another said, “The burden has been lifted, praise the Lord.” And another, “We now have a bright future in front of us.” Or how about this one? “Rest easy.” The Bible teaches that while men slept, the enemy sowed tares, and so it is (Matthew 13:25). I wonder if these people were around during his last presidential cycle?...
