November 8, 1919 - 'Monon Bell Memory' : DePauw vs. Wabash

A crowd estimated at 7,000 witnessed a hard-fought football game at Washington Park, where the annual rivalry game between DePauw University and Wabash College ended the way it began, with a 0-0 tally. The Tigers are now 2-3-1 on the season heading into next week's battle with Purdue.

The crowd included nearly 1,000 people from Greencastle who made the trip to Indianapolis. DePauw fans gathered for a rally on Monument Circle before parading to the stadium, which is located just west of downtown.
