Bigfoot hunter & storyteller helps nature center
He dresses the part and carries with him some very interesting props. He goes by Grandpa Dave and has been a storyteller for about a decade. He likes historical stories and even appeared on an episode of Finding Bigfoot because he says he had a Bigfoot encounter. Dave says "the fact that he was eight or nine feet tall kind of impressed me too." Lately Grandpa Dave is working with the Audubon Community Nature Center in Jamestown. Some generous folks like Dave are sharing their time and talent to help raise money for the center. Program Director Jennifer Schlick says "some people offered their services and people will pay Audubon for these services." For a fee you can get the services of a coin appraiser, rent someone to do yard work or get Grandpa Dave to tell you some stories. You can get more information at the Audubon Community Nature Center website.
