Barkey delves yet again into the world of failed TV projects, with a look at Gene Roddenberry's "The Questor Tapes" (1974). Questor is an android in search of his creator while trying to understand humanity (sound familiar?).

Gene Coon, who helped shape the original "Star Trek" series wrote the script, and Majel Barrett and Walter Koenig pop up as well. Robert Foxworth from "Falcon Crest" and Mike Farrell from M*A*S*H co-star along with John Vernon and Dana Wynter.
