A Brief Book Review of Karla's Choice by Nick Harkaway ( A John Le Carré novel).
Author Nick Harkaway , son of John Le Carré brings us a tale of Le Carré's most famous character, George Smiley.
The tale starts in Spring 1963 where Smiley has left the Circus but is called back to do one simple job - interview a Hungarian lady called Susanna whose boss has disappeared and is being hunted by a Russian agent who wants to defect. Once Smiley gets involved it soon becomes apparent the the hand of Moscow is all over this disappearance and that there is much more to worry about with a future enemy looming large,
A great effort by Nick Harkaway recreating the Smiley/Le Carré universe !
