Forest Escape Homestead Gets the SpaceX Starlink Satellite Internet, Pole Mount, and Tests it Out

At the forest escape homestead we have the old technology in terms of CB radios and Ham radios, but we also have the newest technology, too! The Starlink arrived and we used it laying in the yard with the router in the living room. Then, the bracket came for the pole mount and yesterday we got the pole installed, and with a custom support against the roof it is rock solid. The Starlink wires were put through the wall where the security camera system wires are fed. The router is in my office and the tests begin! Possibly trees will need to be cut down, but we will see. The app for the Starlink is great! I also installed an app for testing faster speeds from Ookla. Some software needs to acclimate to the new connection and I rebooted Windows 10 as well. It is a learning process!
