Interview - A drunk came through a red light, two tons of vehicle. It all happened so quickly no one actually saw him fly through the air. He slammed into the side of my family's vehicle.

Roadz Of Life is a full length documentary that explores some of the
more difficult sides of life. Sharing our stories and struggles can
also encourage. Beautiful, artistic, raw, down to earth, outside the
box film making. Roadz Of Life Jump starts your feelings and thoughts.
These are complex topics.

We all have those memories, chapters of life, experiencing highs, lows and losses. I think it’s far easier for us to see the brokenness or dark parts of our life than choose to realize how much beauty we really are given. 🙂

Grief and trauma can draw out the depth of a person's character. It did for me. My rehabilitation was slow and silent, with no real guarantee of outcomes or continued support.

A disability, a raw, frail form of your humanity is forced in front of your face, it can somehow become a liberating experience. Pushing your limits, ironically it can inspire you to make the most of everyday you’re given, to surrender, to be thankful, to be released of fearful self absorbed restraints, to lighten up and not take everything on board, to reevaluate, to be ok with not being ok, to be content with who you are and the life you’ve been blessed with, to be thankful, to be okay with the now and not always dreaming of what you will be, to find pleasure in the simple things, to be present in the moment, to be willing to open up and show who you are on the inside, to be honest about your strengths and weaknesses, to be honest about the past, it cultivates patience and resilience, confidence of character, to appreciate human connection and embrace people that come your way, to be okay to walk away sometimes, to feel empathy for others that are suffering, to learn your voice, and to realize the enormity, the amazingness of a beautifully cruel world, to dive in balls and all, to be okay whether I fall apart on my knees in hard seasons or dance in the good times knowing that its not actually the point or protocol that I view my existence or worth on. To realize how far our own life truly is out of our hands, to be a bug on a windshield.
