Congratulations
Donald Trump has won the 2024 Presidential election and over half the country can breathe a sigh of relief.

I know most of us have spent a good part of the last few months with an uneasy feeling in the pit of our stomach, and for now that feeling has subsided. But we must never forget it.

Trump's victory was a nationwide mandate for restoring power to the populous. His inclusion of Elon Musk and RFK Jr were brilliant, and his work ethic and bravery unmatched. It was truly amazing history to witness.

Typically, what happens now is that everyone goes back to their normal lives with this renewed feeling of happiness and a sense of victory. This leads to comfort and rather quickly people disengage with politics--but that CAN'T happen this time.

Though we all deserve a pat on the back, a celebratory drink and a weekend off--the establishment members of your TN GOP will take advantage of this populous mandate, to push through more government power and control that we as Tennessee citizens don't want. The Trump victory will not stop the over development of your local communities. It won't stop the out of control spending by your local school boards, it won't the cronyism overwhelming your local municipalities.

Trump's Victory was a mandate for the people and for liberty, not a mandate for the establishment Republican ticket. It was a mandate for a more limited government, with fewer powers and less intrusion into people's private lives.

I've said this since 2020: The government has too much power, and the problem with the political parties is that neither are against that power existing, they just want to wield it for themselves. So they both look to expand that power at the expense of the citizens. Though Trump winning is a major victory for decreasing the size of the federal government--it's only the beginning.

Your local media: the newspapers, the magazines, the TV stations, are all local versions of the federal beast from which we just so narrowly escaped.
Be careful of those who seek to fill the power vacuum created by the dismantling of the federal bureaucracy.

Stay vigilant, stay engaged, and I'd suggest, try to work even harder--as we are going to have to compensate for those that will inevitably fall into compliance.

Thanks for watching, and we'll see you on the Patriot Punkcast this Sunday night!
