The American voters have spoken and elected Donald Trump as their 47th President. Trump comfortably cleared the 270 electoral votes ceiling needed to win back the White House. He becomes only the second president to be re-elected after being defeated at the polls.
The outcome of US election has an impact around the globe, perhaps most notably in the Middle East and Iran.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has congratulated Donald Trump on what he calls his historic White House return and has reaffirmed strong US-Israel alliance.
