Tales From Bartalumpa Bay Song

Original song true story. I was flown to Bartalumpa Bay on Groote Eyelandt in the Gulf of Carpentaria a couple of times to perform/sing. I sang at Bartalumpa Bay which was an unusual seaside pub right next to a pier where trawlers used to unload. I recall watching two mates get off a trawler punching each other, then making their way to the pub and drinking beer all evening. Then I watched them punching each other as they walked back to their trawler. I've never seen that anywhere else. The pub had stuffed/mounted fish, sawfish bill and sharks adorning the wall. I had a great time there and was well received. They even took me fishing but that is another song. Gary Crockett Copyright©.
