Cheryl and Ken discuss the $24 million bond indebtedness determined by the City of Evansville Parks Board members. Three members voted “yes”to County residents paying for an unwanted giraffe 🦒 barn.

The board members are identified with their connection to other “appointed” boards and perceived conflict of interests.

The 83 page CFA-4 2023 campaign contributions of Mayor Stephanie Terry is discussed as the alleged “pay to play” to participate on the Parks Board.

The Indianapolis Attorney coordinating the $24 million bond made a $2500 donation to Mayor Terry’s campaign prior to the approval of County taxpayer indebtedness.

There is discussion regarding a “TPS” Evansville apartment complex owned and managed by a member of the Parks Department Commissioner. Another political contribution was made to the Terry campaign by another Parks Board appointment.

The public consistently said NO to the additional taxation, yet three of the Parks Board members provided a majority to ignore the will of the people.
