The messiah- Mark 1-6

Mark 1-6 of the Bible describes the life of John the Baptist and his preparation of the way for Jesus:
John the Baptist's life
John's life was defined by his service to God and his Son. He lived as a nomad, eating locusts and wild honey, and wearing a coarse garment of camel's hair with a leather belt. His clothing and diet contrasted with the wealthy Jewish council's priestly garments and fine linens.
