The Hinterkaifeck Murders

In 1922, a gruesome event took place on a remote Bavarian farmstead called Hinterkaifeck. The Andreas Gruber family and their maid were found brutally murdered in their home. What makes this case even more terrifying is that the murderers had been living in the house with the victims for several days before the murders, using their belongings and feeding the animals. Despite extensive investigations, the perpetrator was never identified, leaving the case one of Germany's most famous unsolved crimes.
