Saving Tomato Plants , Last Peppers .
Yes you can overwinter tomato plants. Take a healthy clipping before your first frost, stick it in a cup of water and place in a warm place with light. Sun light or grow lights best, but keep out of direct sunlight.

Change the water in the container every two or three days. It will take ten to fourteen days to start roots. When the roots a established you can place in a pot with started mix or compost. KEEP moist, feed it very sparingly and keep in a well lit area.

The first year I kept in just water until mid march and then transplanted to a pot.

Watch for aphids and other destructive insects. If it is warn enough for you plants it is warm enough for insects. This was my down fall the second year I did this and it cost me all my plants I was saving.

God bless
