Watching CNN’s Jake Tapper and John King struggle with the numbers coming out of Georgia is truly something. With Trump leading by 120,000 votes and only 100,000 left to count, it doesn’t take a mathematician to realize the gap is virtually insurmountable. Yet, Tapper and King stand there, as if waiting for some miraculous change in the numbers to pull Kamala through. This scene highlights the disconnect between reality and the media’s wishful thinking.

Pamela Brown spells it out: 118,000-vote lead, 100,000 ballots remaining. It’s simple math, but Tapper and King look like they can’t quite process it. Perhaps it’s a hard pill to swallow when the numbers don’t align with the narrative they’ve been pushing for weeks.

The media’s refusal to acknowledge the writing on the wall speaks volumes. This race in Georgia isn’t some cliffhanger waiting for a last-minute twist; it’s a clear lead for Trump that’s only widening. Yet, the so-called experts can’t bring themselves to concede it. At some point, reality will force their hand, but for now, it’s almost amusing to watch the mental gymnastics on display.
