DRAGON AGE: THE VEILGUARD Had Horrible Pre-Orders with 14% Canceled

BioWare’s latest release, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, had a less than impressive launch when going off of the player count on Steam and now it looks like physical sales were down too.

It is now being reported that Dragon Age: The Veilguard had less than 200K physical pre-orders with around 14% being canceled before the game launched. These are pre-orders so its possible additional physical copies were sold since launch; however, those numbers are probably not significant since we have seen the active player base already declining after less than a week. The high rates of cancelations are likely the result of bad first impressions following gameplay footage being released.
